Every year, over 350,000 children enter the foster care system in the United States alone. They arrive traumatized, confused, and broken —fleeing sexual abuse, physical violence, and abandonment by the very people meant to protect them. They are shuffled from home to home —on average 21 placements per child in their lifetime — leaving behind their belongings in garbage bags, carrying their pain into each new house like a shadow that refuses to leave.
Worse still, our current system fails them. Understaffed, underfunded and overwhelmed foster families are expected to heal wounds they never caused. Caseworkers burn out, quit, and leave files stacked higher than their desks. The system itself has become part of the trauma the children live with.

Every child removed from danger needs more than just shelter. They need immediate medical care, trauma-informed therapy, and compassionate adults who see them not as files or cases—but as human beings
At Cornerstone Residential Treatment Centers, children receive:

- Wellness checks every 15 minutes

Once children are stabilized, they move into our therapeutic homes, staffed by trained, trauma- informed house parents who are supported every step of the way

Our Tower of Hope ensures that no child ages out into homelessness.
Instead, they enter a structured life success program that includes:
- Career Training, Apprenticeships & Business Coaching
- First-Time Homeownership programs
- Financial Literacy & Credit Building
- Counseling & Spiritual Direction (optional)
- Scholarships & Workforce Placement Partnerships
Foster Kid Prevention
Pillar 5: Foster Kid Prevention Assistance
Using AI-powered data, we identify struggling families before they collapse. We work with schools, hospitals, community leaders, and faith groups to intervene before removal becomes necessary.
